Photography Tips at Dawn and Dusk

When photographing at dawn or dusk, one thing that can not be resisted, the migration of the sun, become lighter or darker. Therefore, before shooting, which need to be prepared is the concept of the photo you want, whether silhouette, highlight the foreground or background.

Here are tips from Daniel Bollof (Sony Twilight winner of Germany)
emphasis Find the weight of the salient points for your photo and adjust exposure and focus to emphasize that.

Wide Dynamic Range
Photograph against the sun is quite difficult to show detail in bright areas and dark. In this condition, you can produce HDR photos (high dynamic range) by taking several different exposures and combine them with the software, or in any other way (without editing), put the sun position unobstructed foreground.

Shadow
The position of the low sun makes the shadows grew longer. With the exact composition, diagonal placement of the shadow will bring the viewer's eye to the main object image.

Variation with software
Strengthen the twilight mood by lowering the saturation of the photo (except the main object).

Take your time
Take your time while waiting for sunset to experiment. Can be tricked by playing the aperture to f/22 or smaller
